Happiness and pain

Its funny isn’t it? Sometimes you are ecstatically happy. You feel nothing can go wrong. You step out, its sunnier then it usually is. Everyone seems happy around you. All is right with the world. Then it starts raining. For no reason. No reason to explain why it is suddenly raining, when it was so sunny.
You try to comfort yourself, saying it will pass. But it doesn’t, not for a while atleast. You put on a fake smile, thinking that it will make you happy again. You do things which used to make you happy. Sad thing is, things never happen the same way twice.
Things never happen the way you expect them to turn out. They either exceed your expectations, or they hit rock bottom.  The problem appears big, when there is a conflict between the heart and mind. Your heart knows the real reason for your unhappiness, but your mind refuses to accept it. You spend your entire time trying to resolve the conflict. They say time heals all wounds. But does it? How much time do we all have , to waste in waiting to move on. The real problem arises when we refuse to let ourselves feel the pain, we magnify the problem in our mind, we are too scared to face it. We fail to realize that if we let ourselves feel the feelings, maybe we would be happier , and be able to move on . After all life is just another name for moving forward. No point in going back and feeling the pain. Feel it now, experience it, immerse yourself in it, and just move on.
